De Loop

ECH01 is situated on De Loop Business Park in Echt, between Maastricht and Roermond in the south/east of the Netherlands. This is a strategic location close to both the Belgian and German border.

De Loop is next to the A73 and A2 motorway and close to a junction. This provides easy access from Echt in the south of the Netherlands into Germany and Belgium. The German Ruhr region and the Port of Antwerp are just a short drive away. As well as its excellent crossborder connection, both the northern and southern Netherlands are easy to reach as well. The barge- and rail terminal Born is less then 15 minutes away and for air freight facilities the Maastricht airport is nearby. As a result, Echt is emerging as a logistics hotspot and has the added benefit of being close to other existing and emerging hotspots, such as Venlo, Maastricht and Roermond.

De Loop’s strategic position with excellent access to the German and Belgian hinterland also supports inbound and outbound flows. Goods can be easily transported, via De Loop, from and to the Benelux, Germany and the rest of Europe. Also importantly, Echt is situated in a populous region for labour, with the Mid and South Limburg area and access to labour from Belgium and Germany (Euregio). The total Euregio counts some 4,000,000 inhabitants.
